More likely than not, most salespeople work hard to achieve the status of becoming a Dealer Principal, dealership owner, and/or General Manager one day. These roles aren’t obtainable through just an application and interview process. To become a DP is not just glamour and wealth, but much rather a role of responsibility that takes years of experience to uphold.
Education in multiple avenues pertaining to one job surely pays off, but becoming consistent with education makes all the difference. Training is not something you did, but what you do. The average salesperson will sell 9.6 cars monthly. At a comfortable pace, that’s okay. However the goal is to be great, and change that 9.6 to 56! It is possible to increase your sales volume and change your job title, the question is how much work will you put in to see those numbers grow, and those titles change?

About Alex “A Flo” Flores
Alex Flores is 28 years into the car game, and is not letting up any time soon. Since the start of his career in 1993, Flores has climbed his way up to being the owner of five car dealerships in the Southwest region of the U.S.
In 1985, an earthquake forced Flores from his home in Mexico to the United States. With no idea where to turn or place to go, Alex Flores worked cleaning and serving jobs until he found an opportunity as a car salesman from a regular customer. Since then, Alex Flores worked hard and became the Dealer Principal of Seguin Chevrolet in 2019 where he changed the 50 units they sold monthly to 500!
