Ep 19 - The Phantom Barber of Pascagoula

In the summer of 1942, the town of Pascagoula, Mississippi (and everyone else) deeply felt the effects of World War II. From population increases to a total shake up of the economy, Pascagoula was going through a period of change—one that got even weirder when a mysterious man began breaking into homes and cutting off locks of human hair. The Phantom Barber struck at least four times during that summer, escalating to violence one night in June when he broke from his usual MO and brutally attacked a sleeping couple. 

In this episode, we delve into theories about the Phantom Barber's motive & discuss whether we think the man arrested for the crimes actually committed them.
