#017 What a Squirrel Taught Me About Entrepreneurship

In this episode, I have this hilarious story about how a squirrel taught me about entrepreneurship and the importance of perseverance.

I have these squirrels in my attic who will not let anything dissuade them from their goal of creating a nest up there, no matter how hard we try to relocate them. It got me thinking. Entrepreneurs need to have the same perseverance and let nothing stop them.

As human beings we’ve been conditioned to shrug things off and let things slide, and we even go so far as to say, “I guess it wasn’t meant to be”. This is you limiting yourself and creating excuses for mediocrity, in other words self sabotaging your own goals, when really you should be pushing on.

Take a lesson from these squirrels, don’t let anything stop you from reaching your goal! Stop the excuses. If you were inspired to DO something, then that was Source tapping you on the shoulder saying, “HEY, here is something your higher self is excited about and we’re bringing you here to experience it”.

Commit to yourself and your higher self, you can achieve your goals, with perseverance.

• When we are open and aware, we get signs from the universe.
• How important perseverance is as an Entrepreneur.
• Take stock of something you have given up on, instead of really stepping up and taking action and persevering to achieve the goal you desire.
• Listen to your higher self inspiration, don’t let the ‘human’ side of you get in the way.
• Look out for opportunities to grow and expand.
