Rob Edwards shares simple steps for better teacher wellbeing

Rob Edwards has been inspiring audiences for decades with his message that encourages people to look after themselves...first. And that is, in a way that ultimately benefits others. A little bit like putting on your own oxygen mask first, before helping others. In the world of education these days, the pressure and expectation are certainly mounting to the point where it's easy to forget about looking after yourself, .... which then affects other things in our lives such as how effective we are as teachers and how we interact with our families. Rob brings a wealth of experience from interacting with just about every industry you can think of, and he does so in a way that's practical, easy to listen to and entertaining. Rob will be speaking at the 2021 Western Australian Primary Principals conference. I caught up with Rob in the lead up, to find out a little more about what educators can do to make sure they're looking after themselves.
