Episode 015 - The Radio Host: A Conversation with Nachum Segal
ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Nachum Segal was destined for radio. From his early childhood days announcing sports scores in the privacy of his home, to his collegiate moonlighting at Yeshiva University's campus radio station, he got an early start, and never looked back. His rich, mellifluous bass have served him faithfully as a host and as the MC of note at Jewish events over the years.
Nachum's career has now spanned nearly four decades, having spent 34 years at WFMU NY before branching out to launch his own independent network, the Nachum Segal Network (NSN).
JM in the AM, Nachum's signature morning show, has become a "must listen" Jewish communities in the NY/NJ area, and now more broadly with the advent of digital technologies.
It is a treat to "interview the interviewer," learning about his passion for this evolving medium and the influence he has had and should continue to have for years to come.
