Episode 002 - The Jewish Renaissance Woman: A Conversation with Lori Palatnik
Lori Palatnik has spent three decades in service of Jewish communities around North America and the world. Her most recent and most ambitious enterprise - the Jewish Women's Renaissance Project, often dubbed "Birthright for moms" - has revolutionized the Jewish adult education world, opening up opportunities to women (and now their husbands), and by extension their entire families, to new vistas of Jewish learning and experience.
JWRP's unique recipe comes in the form of partnerships with countless existing Jewish organizations - often several in a single city - including outreach programs, Federations and others.
Lori shares with us her personal life story and odyssey into committed Jewish life, her professional evolution, the charming story of JWRP's genesis over a brainstorming session at a private chalet in Utah, and her dreams for its expansion in the years to come.
