After a night of drinking Finnalai gets a call from his mother, and Luden is paid a visit from an old shadowy friend. Samson and Urimir pull off a master scam. With a bit of a hangover the next morning, the party discusses their plan for the Vaults of Slumbering. Disagreements are had, but in the end the majority decides. They make their way to Lord Kareviss Goldlight's estate. The group plays his little game and learn something about themselves. An agreement is made and the group makes their way down into the depths of the mountain. We end just as the group finds themselves locked within the Slumbering Vaults.
