What happens when you make a movie that lacks all the charm, humor and heart of one of the greatest television series of all time? You end up with this confusing pile of junk. Some things are better left alone or maybe just let the creators do a new tv series (oh yeah they did that and made Korra which was wonderful). I root for M Night but this movie just didn't have a chance.
Hate Watching is a show where we point out Hollywoods failings.

Pizza. Is there anyone that does not love pizza. If there is I don't want to know that person. Pizza is perfection. In life we are always looking for that little bit of perfection. The perfect dessert, the perfect day at the beach, the perfect hot shower at the end of a long day. We can try to replicate the perfect experience but each time it feels a little more hollow. So you mix it up but still you search for that perfection. Finding it less and less and hoping more and more that it can be experienced again. Then you give up hope. But then out of the blue, you have another perfect experience. And you start the hunt all over again.
