Episode 91: Ann Dowd - The Aunt Lydia Episode ("The Handmaids Tale" S3 E8)

Blessed be, this week we're celebrating Best Supporting Podcast fave Ann Dowd in her most iconic role to date as Gilead's Aunt Lydia, in her infamous flashback episode from Season 3 of "The Handmaid's Tale." While the show overall may be a bit too grim for our tastes, we can't help but marvel at not only Ann's award-winning transformation, but the exquisite agony of Elizabeth Moss as June. We could do with less dead babies and the occasional joke wouldn't go astray, but we'll settle for a dolled up Lydia doing a karaoke duet of "Islands in the Stream."
