Podcast 4 - The Unkind UK press about Meghan Markle & Prince Harry due to the pending publication of the "Finding Freedom" biography.

In this podcast I discuss the nasty and unkind UK tabloid reports about Meghan and Harry as a result of the pending publication of the biography Finding Freedom written by Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand. The book comes into general release on August 11th, 2020. The press are using this as an excuse to bash Harry and Meghan over all manner of things. 

I am not going to talk about the contents of the book itself as I have my own copy on back order and I want to wait until I read it before making any comments about the contents.  

The UK media widely talk about this being Harry and Meghan’s book – describing it correctly as a biography but basically insinuating it is an autobiography written by or with the approval of the couple. The co-authors deny having had direct access to Meghan and Harry to obtain material for the book. The Sussex's did not read or approve a draft copy. 

A statement released for Harry and Meghan said: "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were not interviewed and did not contribute to Finding Freedom. This book is based on the authors' own experiences as members of the royal press corps and their own independent reporting."

I review some of the comments that have been made about Harry and Meghan. I hope the couple are managing to ignore them as best as possible. I hope they are continuing with their good work.
