We began in September of 2017 when Jerry Bott and WISN gave us a chance and hopefully we have delivered. Dave Michaels has produced every one of the programs and has been a great friend and mentor – teaching us some of the ways of the radio waves. I am very lucky to have shared the microphone for nearly four years with Dr. Rana Higgins. Rana is a true expert in minimally invasive and robotic surgery and more than that, she is an insightful and caring physician who spends an incredible amount of time teaching the next generation of doctors. Also, a big thank you to our executive director – Linda Klagstad - Linda makes everything happen, along with our loyal and hard-working “content” team of Dr. Tracy Wang, Dr. Joyce Sanchez and before he left us for Boston, Dr. John Fangman – most all of what you hear on The Word on Medicine and The Latest Word on Medicine comes from the brilliant and creative minds of our radio team.
