Zigmund Adamski, a 56 year old miner, went missing from his home near Wakefield, England, in June 1980. Five days later his body was found 20 miles from his home at a coal yard in Todmorden. On the back of his head, neck and shoulders were mysterious burns which attracted lots of attention, along with the fact, he was found on top of a 10 foot pile of coal with no coal dust on his body and no evidence of foul play. James Turnbull, the coroner who dealt with his death, said it was the biggest mystery of his career. So what happened to Zigmund Adamski?
