When we left the Thriller arc last time, in their hunt for the multiple rapists and suspected single triple killer, police had just utilised the services of Professor David Canter, who helped Operation Trinity with the then groundbreaking investigative tool of the psychological profile.

John Francis Duffy.
It led to charges being brought for multiple rapes - and the murders of Alison Day, Maartje Tamboezer, and Anne Lock, with Duffy scheduled to face trial for these in January 1988.
So let's see how that went.
