806: Rick Sessinghaus first met Collin Morikawa when he was 8 years old. After watching him swing the club just a couple times, he agreed to work with him and has been doing so ever since. In only his second season on the PGA Tour, Collin won the 2020 PGA Championship at Harding Park in San Francisco and then the 2021 Open Championship at Royal St George’s Golf Club in England. In this week’s episode we talk to Rick about how he taught Collin to “play” golf as opposed to hitting golf shots. We also discuss how we put pressure on ourselves that turns into tension in our bodies that result in less than optimal golf striking. Learn more about and from Rick at ricksessinghaus.com.
