Today, we're taking you back down memory lane. Remember Jarrod and Emma Amery, the super positive duo who own and lease more than 6,500 acres around Forbes in Central West NSW, while keeping up with their six lively kids?

Well, earlier this year Jarrod and Emma were rewarded for all their hard work when they were named as finalists in the Cropping Farmer of the Year Award. To celebrate their success, we decided to revisit our chat with Jarrod and Emma from last year.

In this episode, you'll hear how Jarrod went from being a local shearer to securing his dream farm. But as Jarrod and Emma describe, this journey wasn't always without its challenges. It's taken a lot of hard work, a can-do attitude, and most importantly, some well-timed decisions.

Local Land Services District Vet Jill Kelly sat down with Jarrod and Emma for this chat during a brief break in one of their busy working days.
