When the prospect of Grace Snider and Laura being possible wallflowers for the Spring Dance, Caroline steps in with a little advice/input on how to get the dates they want. For Grace, she needs to find a way of getting Mr. Edwards to ask her to be his date....but he's busy being complacent. Although he is the town Doctor/Veterinary, Doc Baker is unknowingly pulled into this situation. As for Laura, she can't keep her eyes off of Henry Henderson as a possible date, however, he is one shy boy who rarely talks with girls. She decides to recruit the help of Willie Oleson....but you know if Willie Oleson is involved somehow things just won't go correctly. With less than a week to go till the dance, will these women end up using their wiles to achieve their goals? Does Laura have a thing for boys who have the same initial for their first and last name? Out of all the jobs that Charles is able to do, has he finally meet his challenge....by being a stand up comedian?
