My wife loves soccer or football as they call it abroad. Every day she watches game but also the shows where they talk about soccer or football.  It is kind of funny to watch a bunch of old euro guys talk about players that I have no idea who 99% of them are (I know Messi, Renaldo and Paul Pogba and Havertz who's name sounds like Have Farts). And there are so many teams and leagues and championships in the middle of the season and breaks and Olympics and World Cups and on and on.  It is just odd to know a very little about something but watch shows where people care about a thing so much and I care so little.  We all have our things and seem crazy to everyone else on the planet.
