Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.

 

Father God, in the name of Jesus, we give you glory and praise. We honor your name for you are our great God, our Lord, our savior. You're the Lord. God, our creator. You made us, you know, all about us. And so God, I pray in the name of Jesus for a restoring of our hearts and our minds and a rekindling of the fire that's in us and God that we will rise up and we will live our best lives, no longer living from defeat to defeat, but we live from victory to victory in Jesus' name.

 

So, God, I pray in the name of Jesus that the holy spirit will move us to victorious living, to living the abundant life that he would move us to smile again and enjoying the joy and the peace of God in Jesus' name. I come against fear and the fear of what's going on in the world, the fear of diseases, the fear of war in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and I decree and declare that we will live the abundant life or peace and joy in you in the name of Jesus.

 

We thank you. That we're smiling again. We thank you that our hope is in you. We thank you, God. That we're not defeated. We are more than conquerors because you love us. We thank you, God, that we have a God on our side and we thank you, God, that we live in community with each other. Yes God, our brothers and our sisters, yet to be able to lean on them, to be able to find strength in each other in Jesus' name.

 

Our happiness and our joy is returning because of your presence in our lives. We cast off worry, fear, and doubt, and we go in your direction in the direction of your truth and your word. And there we find peace in Jesus' name. Amen.
