The Texas Longhorns came out and took care of business in the first game of the Steve Sarkisian era, knocking off the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns 38-18 in a game that never really felt close.
Offensively, the Longhorns did a great job getting their playmakers involved early and often, with both Bijan Robinson and Jordan Whittington putting up career numbers. Defensively, we got a look at what the Longhorns can do, with both of the inside linebackers - DeMarvion Overshown and Luke Brockermeyer - sitting atop of the stat sheet at the end of the day. Texas showed vast improvement in some areas, but what else do we need to see to feel confident in that unit?
