Former Giants scout Mike Murphy on character): "I remember, (Bill) Parcells always used to say, ‘don’t bring me the guys with the issues off the field. I got enough problems trying to teach them the things on the field.’ Just trying to see how the people react, how the players react with their teammates, whether they’re losing, whether they’re winning, etc. That makes a big difference."
