The proposed downtown Market Plaza development may be gaining some momentum as the City Council takes up a recommendation for development and management partners. The Lee’s Summit R-7 Board of Education tabs Ryan Murdock to remain as president and elects Megan Marshall to serve as Vice President; plus other notes from local businesses and the City of Lee’s Summit.
