Tyler, our Memphis mixologist from the ultra trendy bar "The Gray Canary" (as well as "Eight and Sand") visits with us again! JD is a little late getting in but Denise and Tyler have a quick catch up and some whiskey chat while Tyler explains his inspiration for this "Front Porch Pounder"- a drink you can love while sitting on your front porch on a warm weekend. It's really a modern, grown up riff on the classic college jungle juice. He's almost ready to share some eclectic, electric neon-colored summer drinks but NOT yet, it's still Spring so we're cruising slowly and savoring this pretty drink made with whiskey, cappaletti, lemon juice, cynar, vanilla extract, dash of sugar syrup!
