Dr. Larissa Baia, President of Lakes Region Community College is our guest for this weekend’s broadcast to share about the college and its educational program offerings. The college is located in Laconia, NH, was established in 1967, and is one of the seven colleges that make up the Community College System of New Hampshire. Dr. Baia will share some of the unique programs the college offers, such as the Fire Technology Associates degree (the only program in the state), as well as the Registered Nursing program (#2 in NH), and the Marine Technology program (#5 in the country).
