Aigiri Nandini Stotram for Protection and Liberation

Also called the Mahishasura Mardini Stotram, it is a popular hymn on Goddess Durga, who killed the demon Mahisha. The hymn was composed to praise the Goddess for the mercy she showers on humanity. By chanting this Stotram, one can get the blessings and protection of Goddess Mahishasura Mardini, who is like a mother to her devotees and helps them attain Moksha. This Stotram renders praise to the greatness of the Goddess who came to the rescue of beleaguered humanity and also describes her attributes.
