Treasures in Heaven Pt. 3: Rewards in Heaven - Pastor Mike Hovland

Matthew 6:19-21

Scripture teaches that the believer will be rewarded in heaven. Jesus commands his disciples to “lay up treasures in heaven” (Matt 6:20). But if rewards will be given then there must be a judgement to determine those rewards. Although, on the one hand, a believer “does not come into judgement” (John 5:24), still, there is a judgement of the Christian based on how he or she served the Lord in their lifetime. Today we will examine this judgement and what Scripture teaches about the believer’s future reward.
