The Daily Wake Up Micro Podcast
Business:Entrepreneurship
As the event I'm planning is coming together, I've been asked why so big for your first one? My response is that it takes just as much time and effort to plan a smaller event. If the amount of effort to put it together is the same (phone calls to the right people), why not go big?
The only difference could be that the 'right people' for a bigger event are more important than those of a smaller event.
This doesn't apply to me because I treat all people the same. It doesn't matter if you are well-known speaker, head of a billion dollar company, or janitor, I treat you the same.
By having the same type of respect for all different types of people, you can call them with confidence, share the vision you have for an event, and get their feedback.
The next time you are thinking of planning something, never go small, ALWAYS GO BIG.
