Business:Entrepreneurship
In the book, Everything I know about success I learned from Napoleon Hill, the author Don M. Green writes, 'we will be the same person in five years as we are today, except for two things: The books we read and the people we meet.
Reading is the most cost-effective and impactful change I've made to my life. Reading is important to who I am going to be.
Last year my goal was to read 50 books (ended at 60). This year my reading goal is to read 100 books.
When people ask how is this possible, my response is formula.
100 books a year is two books a week.
Each book is 200-250 pages in length.
Reading an hour a day = seven hours of reading.
That's 57-71 pages per hour read.
Take notes on what jumped out to you during your read.
The more you read the faster your reading will become which will allow you to accomplish this goal.
The benefits to reading far outweighs the benefits of streaming shows or social media.
Will you be the same person in five years?
