Over the weekend I read the book, "Shortcut to Prosperity where it described this about change:
Change is easier when you are surrounded by people who model the behavior you are trying to achieve.
As I read this I couldn't help but think about coaching and those that are coachable. I hear it a lot now that I"m involved in some networking marketing organizations: "you need to be coachable."
What many coaches don't see however is what this book points out: Change is easier when you are surrounded (or coached) by people (coach) who model the behavior you are trying to achieve.
For the coach, what kind of behavior are you displaying in your family life, business life, and social life? For the individual being coached, putting expertise on the side, what type of behavior are you looking for in a coach. These are important points to consider when being coached.
