Uncover Your Identity Through Reflecting on Your Walk with Christ-Looking Back Helps You Prepare to Move Forward

Who are you? Who do you want to be? Who does Christ say you are? How does Christ's identity for you shape your future? These are all questions we should ask ourselves.  In order to really look at these, we have to look back at our life. We have to look back specifically at how God has shown up in our lives.  This is what I encourage you to do today. To find who you want to be or who you are becoming- look at the patterns, rhythms, and paths we have taken thus far.  Look at how God has shown up and protected you. Look at how He prepared you for the walk you are walking. Our circumstances are not a shock, as hard as they were (or are) to go through, God is walking with us the ENTIRE time. Our confidence, our security, our fear fighting and overcoming- all come from our identity- and stepping into who God created us to be.
