Welcome to another episode of the Conversations for Financial Professionals podcast where we are shaping the next generation of financial advice.
Today we have Nancy Langdon Jones.
Nancy has been a panelist for the Los Angeles Times’ Investment Strategies Conference, was named one of the “Most Influential People in the Profession” by readers of Financial Planning Magazine in 2002, was included in the American Business Women’s Association 2003 Top Ten, and a recipient of the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award.
In 2001 she published So You Want to Be a Financial Planner: Your Guide to a New Career. The 9th edition was published in 2018, which in my opinion is one of the must reads for every aspiring financial planner and or CFP certificant.
Nowadays you spend your time by giving back to the profession in many ways including corresponding with individuals asking for guidance in making a career move to the financial planning profession.
