Making After-School Cool Podcast
Education
This episode of the Making After School Cool podcast is part two of a two-part series about the benefits of managing youth urban debate leagues. When you think of the types of students participating in debate tournaments, seldom do we think of low economic students living in an urban setting who will be the first in their families to go to college. These students, in most cases, do not have access to extracurricular programs which improve academic outcomes for lower-income and/or minority secondary school students. To answer this need, four years ago, Case for Kids launched the CASE debates program. To speak on managing an urban debate program while dealing with Covid 19 restrictions is my guest Toni Candice.
