In this episode of Life As An Observer I explore the the Masks that Men wear and hide behind as their personal narrative and window to the world. These masks come at a cost to the divine masculine, only showing that of Protector, Provider, and Procreator. At a terrible costs the 9 main worldly masks create a false sense of worth where men hide behind the mask in order to be seen. Yet, men hide their vulnerability in the narratives of these mask in order to not be seen as weak or shamed for their emotions. We explore the roles of violent crime, and high suicide rates in men due to the unneeded pressure caused by these masks and the masculine expectations for little to no vulnerability.
