I wanted to give the rogue trader a northern accent because:
A) that the outdated societal associations with accents we hold today don't necessarily hold true in the far future.
B) I love doing a northern accent. I didn't like my native accent when I was little and deliberately worked to not have it. Nowadays though, thanks a lot of Sean Bean, Game of Thrones and learning about the working class struggles and resiliance of my home county, I have discovered a love for the accent I once shunned. Y
