Goddess Saraswati is the Hindu goddess of speech, fine arts, knowledge, and wisdom. She is the consort of Lord Brahma. She is a major deity in the Hindu tradition, as knowledge, wisdom, and intelligence are highly prized and desired by all people. Both attributes are very essential to lead a successful and prosperous life. There are many Saraswati mantras that are chanted by devotees to gain material and spiritual benefits. One among them is Saraswati Suktam, which is third in the order of Vedic hymns. It is chanted for attaining intelligence, and higher education, knowledge, and success in studies and exams.
