RMA-Episode 44 Show Notes:
Recovery is a process, and learning how to think with a recovery mindset is a journey, an evolution of mind. Like any other journey, there are stages and hurdles, but if you put in the work and trust the process, you’ll get there eventually. In this case, the destination is a place of peace and equilibrium. While this isn’t entirely an episode about The Palsgraf Revelation, Joseph Naus’ follow-up memoir, it does borrow from his discussion on how to help orient your mind using the stages of recovery as a framework. We go deep, and we go long on this, and I hope you find some value in the discussion.
Plus, 4th of July is upon us and summer is in full swing, so join Mike and Nat as they embark on a beachside, nautical, pint-glass sized episode of Recovery in the Middle Ages.

If you’re in trouble with substance abuse and need help, reach out. There are thousands of people who have put problems with addiction in their rear-view mirrors and you can be one of them. While we neither endorse nor condemn any particular program, the sheer number of available AA and NA meetings suggest that reaching out to those organizations would be a good first step on the road to recovery.
