Tell Me More- About Reconciliation and New Hearts

Kate joins us today as we look at some of the topics that she had to cut from her sermon this past weekend.  We talk about the difference between forgiveness and reconciliation as well as the fact that Jesus gives us a new heart, allowing us to not be afraid of what we feel.

So much discipleship in following Jesus happens along the way. For me, it hasn’t been a list of sermons that changed my life, or a list of places I volunteered, or even a book of the bible, but the way God moved in and through people around those things. The journey has formed me much more than any particular destination. So we are going to try to create that for you via this podcast. Hopefully it’s a place where we get to talk about things like what went into writing the sermon from this Sunday and what got cut that you wish you could have included. We’ll talk about our passions and hearts and why we are doing different things as a church. We’ll have the conversations on here that happen behind the scenes so that you can be a part of them too.
