Kate studied organizational behavior at Brigham Young University and psychology at Columbia University. Currently Kate works at Nu Skin Enterprises, leading their Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion initiatives.
Kate talks about the conclusions learned from the researching the LDS LGBTQ community. Kate's graduate research studied 450 individuals at the intersection of non-heterosexuality and religion. She shares her findings, conclusions and pastoral implications for our LDS LGBTQ members.
Kate gets vulnerable as she shares her personal story on how her life was changed by this research and her personal involvement with LDS LGBTQ members. She has wisdom and insights into the difficult road our LGBTQ friends walk.
