Death Separates the Fleshly From the Spiritual (11)
(Audio)
David Eells - 7/14/21 (As always the audio has more than the text)
Saints please fast and pray about last Sunday’s and todays broadcasts and this dream below and study Ephesians Chapter 4 with a heart to obey it. And let us bind and forbid all spirits of witchcraft, faction, slander, unforgiveness, etc…
Eve received by faith at random on 7/8/21 for our morning prayer meeting Heb. 13:17, Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit to them : for they watch in behalf of your souls, as they that shall give account; that they may do this with joy, and not with grief: for this were unprofitable for you.
Obey Ephesians 4 and Avoid Separation From the Body
Vanessa Weeks - 7/1/21 (David’s notes in red)
We of UBM were in a house and there was a lot of room. (There is a lot of room in the house because the Lord is making room for those who are chosen of Him and desire sanctification to be a part of the Bride and to be joined to our UBM body. Hardly a day goes by that we don't receive texts that speak of God releasing His people from captivity to return to the real Kingdom of God. The first fruits are a very small group of people. They are the first to come to maturity through the daily sacrifice of their flesh on the alter of sanctification to God. It will be their job to raise up the Church as it was for those first disciples. The people will be delivered from the apostate leadership and those who continue to serve them. God will drain the religious swamp. Mat. 21:43, Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people producing its fruits. Anyone can be replaced. No one is irreplaceable.)
Mat. 25:24-30, And he also that had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art a hard man, reaping where thou didst not sow, and gathering where thou didst not scatter; 25 and I was afraid, and went away and hid thy talent in the earth: (Representing the gifts of God meant to benefit His Kingdom and His people being buried in fleshly desires.) lo, thou hast thine own.
26 But his lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I did not scatter; 27 thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the bankers, and at my coming I should have received back mine own with interest.
28 Take ye away therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him that hath the ten talents. 29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not, even that which he hath shall be taken away. 30 And cast ye out the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.)
Vanessa: We were just casually talking, and I saw Missy kneeling in front of a workbench. She was wearing white pants and was painting a picture with watercolors. (This is Missy laboring in prayer while she is walking in righteousness. She is painting a picture by her prayers and the Word of God.) (Missy is representing the Bride. The Word of God is represented by the “Water” colors, which are attributes of the Light, which is the Word, who is Jesus.)
This was a peaceful picture of a blue sky and a bright sun with green grass. (The Bride, is hard at work interceding for the people of God through prayers and fasting just as Esther did when her people were under the threat of Haman. She is using her faith, through imagination and intercession, to paint the future for the her and the Church.)
Then David began talking to all of us here in local UBM (Local UBM is being used as a microcosm representing larger UBM). He said, “We need to do what is in Eph. Chapter 4 or there will be a split among us." I was surprised in the dream because, currently, we seem to be walking with the Lord and in unity of the Body. (The Lord is warning us to, “Walk worthily of our calling wherewith we were called…in love.” He has been cleaning us up and cleaning out those who aren’t serious about holiness and the Body ministry of love. He will make a separation if there isn’t true repentance so that His Bride will be spotless and blemish-less.)
When I woke up, I was wondering, “How could this be?", but when I heard the dream that David read at our Friday meeting and to larger UBM on Sunday of a threat of faction titled, "Clean Up to Escape Faction Attack" by Andrew Gelinas, I believed this dream I had is a warning. I also believe that we were fulfilling what Missy was doing in the dream when she kneeled and prayed at the “workbench” on Friday when David, not knowing of my dream, suggested that we all kneel before the Lord and pray in the Spirit and cast down the faction spirits.
Father, please help us to continue to labor in prayer with your Word for our UBM body and the Body of Christ. Also cause us to know what you are saying in Ephesians Chapter 4 and obey your Word so there is no split among us. We ask you for your mercy in Jesus name. Amen.
Reading Eph. 4, we see so much of it is about how to treat each other.
Ephesians Chapter 4 is all about walking in love and unity among brethren. In order to do this we must know God's definition of love. It is quite different from the emotional love that humans experience. God’s Agape love is action and not feelings. It is obedience and doing. Jesus said, “If you love Me you will keep my commandments.” “Christians" in name only refuse to obey the Father proving they don't have Agape love.
The Bible Dictionary defines love this way: “Love, whether used of God or man, is an earnest and anxious desire for and an active beneficial interest in the well-being of the loved-one. God is love, which leads Him to express Himself in terms of endearment towards His creatures, and actively to manifest that interest and affection in acts of loving care and self-sacrifice in behalf of the objects of His love.)
1 Co. 13 defines God’s love: 1 Co. 13:1-13 1 If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal. (Love is action and not empty words and you know the old sayings, “Actions speak louder than words.” And “Put your money where your mouth is.” It’s important that we be men and women that keep our word to others; otherwise we bring disrepute on the Name of Christ and we will appear foolish to other people. Psa 15:1-4, Jehovah, who shall sojourn in thy tabernacle? Who shall dwell in thy holy hill? 2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, And speaketh truth in his heart; 3 He that slandereth not with his tongue, Nor doeth evil to his friend, Nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbor; 4 In whose eyes a reprobate is despised, But who honoreth them that fear Jehovah; He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not;)
2 And if I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. (God considers that loving His Word and obeying it and loving each other is more important than anything else we could do in this life including His gifts.)
3 And if I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned (Numerics - that I may glory), but have not love, it profiteth me nothing. (None of our works will remain; they will all be burned up as stubble if we do not walk in love. 1 Co. 3:10-15 says, According to the grace of God which was given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder I laid a foundation; and another buildeth thereon. But let each man take heed how he buildeth thereon. 11 For other foundation can no man lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. but if any man buildeth on the foundation gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, stubble; 12 each man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself shall prove each man's work of what sort it is. 14 If any man's work shall abide which he built thereon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as through fire. Since this speaks of building on the foundation of Christ this speaks of Christians having their carnal works burned up to be saved.)
4 Love suffereth long (is patient with others), and is kind (Not mean as a snake like many religious people are); love envieth not (They are not jealous of others); love vaunteth not itself, (To vaunt oneself is to boast or brag, to make a vain display of one’s own worth and attainments: to talk with vain pretentiousness and showiness) is not puffed up, (prideful and arrogant)
5 doth not behave itself unseemly, (meaning: not in accord with accepted standards of decency or morality. Not suited to the circumstances; inappropriate. Unattractive; unsightly.) seeketh not its own, (Love does not seek its own benefit or its own interests and is not self-serving and selfish in its thinking.) is not provoked, (can not be instigated to react harshly and rashly) taketh not account of evil; (Love does not keep a running tab of the wrongs of others towards it. Love forgives and forgets and every day begins with a clean new slate as if all the yesterdays never happened.)
6 rejoiceth not in unrighteousness, but rejoiceth with the truth; (Love does not approve of or go along with the evil actions of others but rather loves the truth of God’s Word and is loyal to it.)
7 beareth (Numerics - covereth) all things, (Love covereth a multitude of sins. Pro. 17:9 Whoever forgives an offense seeks love, but whoever keeps bringing up the issue separates the closest of friends.) believeth all things, (Love is not suspicious or paranoid and does not accuse in it’s mind. Ecc. 7:21, Also take not heed unto all words that are spoken, lest thou hear thy servant curse thee;) hopeth all things, (Love does not get drug down with discouragement concerning others. It always remains hopeful and choses to continue in faith for the brethren.) endureth all things. (Endure means to suffer something or someone who is difficult, painful or unpleasant; to continue to exist for a long time. To bear up courageously; to tarry or wait for.)
8 Love never faileth … 13 But now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; and the greatest of these is love. (This is something to really think about and meditate on!)
Now taking a closer look at Ephesians chapter 4, I’d like to start back in chapter 3 with verses 14-21. This is a really good prayer that Paul prays for power to do love:
Ephesians 3:14-21 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, 16 that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that ye may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man; 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,(Faith in our redemption causes us to be rooted and grounded in Christ's love so that we are strengthened to take ahold of the nature of Christ’s love and be filled with the fullness of God’s Holy Spirit.) 18 may be strong to apprehend (Not comprehend as some versions say) with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ which passeth knowledge, that ye may be filled unto all the fulness of God. (I.e. apprehend all of Christ) 20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, 21 unto him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus unto all generations for ever and ever. Amen. (So now that we have the power we can have the love expressed in chapter 4.)
Eph 4:1-32 I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beseech you to walk worthily of the calling wherewith ye were called, (We are to be prisoners of the Lord just as Paul was. We were ransomed with a price. Jesus died to set us free from sin and the curse. Our lives are not our own but we belong to Jesus and God our Father. We are now His bond servants. Our sole purpose for being here on this earth is to do the will of our Father and not our own will.)
2 with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; (If we each consider others better than ourselves we will have the humility to be patient and forbearing with each other. This will keep us from falling into criticism and unforgiveness towards others. Jesus came to serve and not to be served. He came to lay down His life for the people of God. He told His disciples that no servant is greater than His Master. He washed His disciple’s feet and He commanded them to do the same.)
3 giving diligence to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. (It takes conscientious diligence to keep the unity of the Spirit. It is something to be guarded and defended against the spirits of faction and division that are continually trying to separate brethren from one another and from the Body of Christ. There are no “Lone Rangers” in the Body of Christ. No man or woman lives to himself or dies to himself. Our words, actions and choices (or lack thereof) affect others in the Body around us. The only way to stay unified in the Body of Christ and to have the bond of peace is to stay in His Word daily, renewing our minds and our spirit man. Jesus IS the Word of God and we can’t remain in Him if we don’t remain in His Word.)
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as also ye were called in one hope of your calling; (If you are not united together with the mind of Christ in the Holy Spirit among the elect of God through obedience to His Word, which commands us not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together in willful disobedience - Heb 10:25-26, then you will lose the “hope of your calling” and will be devoured by the wolves; the enemies of your soul.)
5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, (There is only one Lord and one faith. If your life (meaning your thoughts, attitudes and actions) do not match or line up with the commandments that Jesus laid down in the New Testament then you are not part of the Body of Christ nor are you His disciples. You are serving another Jesus that allows people to live according to their flesh nature, being ruled by it instead of submitting to the Word and repenting. There are only 2 men in the earth Christ and anti-Christ. Jesus said, “My mother and brothers are them that hear my words and do them".)
6 one God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in all. (Those who are in God through submission to His Word, and those in whom God lives are His real body, the rest is fake religion.)
7 But unto each one of us was the grace given according to the measure of the gift of Christ. (Each one of us has initially been given a measure of the gift of Christ but we must not bury our gifts or talents in the earth of our fleshly desires or what we have will be taken from us and given to another and we will be reprobated. No one is irreplaceable. Paul said, “I buffet my body daily and bring it into submission lest I myself should be rejected,” or reprobated.)
8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive, And gave gifts unto men. (Jesus overcame our captivity to the sinful nature and the curse and He has given us the authority to overcome our flesh nature to become Sons of God like Himself. We must take hold of this by faith to see the end of our salvation. If the devil can rob us of our faith then we will not mature and in many cases be saved, as Jesus said in the parable of the sower.)
9 (Now this, He ascended, what is it but that he also descended into the lower parts of the earth? 10 He that descended is the same also that ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.) (Jesus overcame all so that we too could overcome all and be a part of His eternal body. The Lord ordained elders to bring this body together. The faction movement seeks, by their lord, satan, to destroy this body.)
11 And he gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 for the perfecting of the saints, unto the work of ministering, unto the building up of the body of Christ: (The Lord has set elders and shepherds over His flock to grow us up and mature us so that ,we too, can be ministers to one another in order to build up and spiritually strengthen each member of the Body of Christ. We are not members of UBM just to sit back on our laurels, stay where we’re at in our walk and soak it all in, being spiritually lazy and slothful and letting the elders do all the work for us. We must fight the good fight of the faith for ourselves. No one will enter the Kingdom of Heaven on the leaderships coat tails. We can not wear our own apparel and be called by His Name. It doesn’t work that way.)
13 till we all attain unto the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a full grown man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: (This is the goal; becoming full grown in the image of Christ. The more Christ of the Word we have in us and the less of our flesh nature, the more we will be unified with the same mind of Christ.)
14 that we may be no longer children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error; (If we are spiritually lazy not to stay in the Word and renew our minds so that we are continually having the mind and thoughts of Christ, then we will constantly be tossed about by wicked men and their false doctrines. We will be unstable in our mind, will, and emotions. We will be spiritually stunted and perpetual children, always needy and always spiritual takers and never spiritual givers; unable to be any benefit to the rest of our brethren in the Body. The immature can’t even give milk!)
15 but speaking truth in love, may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, even Christ; (The only way to grow up in Christ is to love the truth of the Word and submit to it at all costs. We must agree with what the Word commands us and stop defending our flesh man by denying the Word of God which is the only truth. If when you read the Word and you come across something in it that doesn’t line up with your way of thinking you must repent and change your way of thinking. This is the only way to be united with the Head.)
16 from whom all the body fitly framed and knit together through that which every joint supplieth, according to the working in due measure of each several part, maketh the increase of the body unto the building up of itself in love. (The Body is connected and joined together in His love; each member using the gifts given them by the Lord and working together to increase the Body in strength and unity until it looks like the Body of Christ, a giant in the earth. Love seeketh not it’s own (meaning it’s not selfish or self serving and constantly mindful of itself and it’s own needs and lusts or trials.)
