#040: Julie Hiner – Growth through challenge, the welcoming arms of writers, and embracing your genre.
Julie Hiner is a writer of dark crime, horror, and non-fiction.
Julie has been fascinated with the complexity of the dark mind of the serial killer and obsessed with trying to understand how murder can occur. Finding inspiration at a talk given by a local homicide detective, Julie surged down her new path to writing a dark, serial killer novel.
Julie's favorite parts of her new found writing process are the detailed research, creating an in-depth character and digging deep into his, her or its mind, and unleashing her inner artist on photos to create the cover and marketing material.
