Kelly Hoey is the author of Build Your Dream Network: Forging Powerful Relationships In A Hyper-Connected World (January 2017 / Tarcher Perigee).

Kelly’s career story is all about networks. Her career started out with a law degree and a job in a big Canadian law firm. She continued up the corporate law ladder (with a management detour) until a chance opportunity in 2009 encouraged her to think bigger. Working alongside a visionary leader of a global business network for women, co-founding a startup accelerator, angel investing, accepting an interim CMO role with an emerging tech company, adjunct professor, writing a book, advisor to NZ entrepreneurs, launching a podcast - these are all part of her ongoing networked career journey.

Kelly has appeared on CNBC’s Power Pitch, co-created and moderated a speaker series at Apple, and contributed to media publications such as The New York Times, Forbes, Fast Company, and Inc.  Kelly is currently at work on her second book, focused on the networks women need to build for career success.
