Marlysa discusses the overlap between Eastern and Western philosophy and science and how Gunas, emotional states from Yogic philosophy, pair well with Polyvagal Theory. Marlysa is a physiotherapist and yoga therapist with over 15 years of experience working with people suffering from chronic pain conditions. She is also an author and Assistant Professor in Yoga therapy and Integrative Health sciences at the Maryland University of Integrative Health.
