In this episode we will be having a chat about mental health specifically in regards to men.
Men are known for bottling things up and sometimes might feel they have no one to turn to because society wrongly taught males to mask their emotions. On average 1/8 men will experience depression and 1/5 will experience anxiety at some stage in their lives. We need to be encouraging men to speak up and not expect them to 'man up'. Effectively managing your mental health is important whether you are male or female.
So today I am joined by a fitness and mindset coach, Luke Anning, to talk about his journey with mental health.
