Speaker: Matthew Walker
Scripture: Jonah 1:1-3
The story of Jonah is one of the great tales of the Old Testament. It has fantastic miracles—a man-eating fish and
a fast-growing weed. It includes the powerful Ninevites (Assyrians) and one of the most difficult to read prophets of
the entire Bible. Jonah is God’s servant, but you almost would not know that if the Bible did not tell you he was. Our
introduction to this book begins with a look at his unfortunate decision to run from God.
