You don’t need banks to be a real estate investor. In fact, I would say that your business will be more profitable and MUCH safer if you learn techniques that allow you to stay away from banks or hard money lenders entirely.
Cutting out banks also lets you avoid putting your name, assets, and credit on the line. It is the number one asset protection technique I’ve used for my business. The fewer people or entities who have a claim to your business, the less likely it is you will lose that business, and I speak from experience.
I’m going to share how I lost a $17 million business back in 1991 because of bank and construction loans. It was painful, but the good news is that experience taught me there are better ways to invest that don’t require you to put your name or credit on the line and will bring you more profit and wealth in a safer, more optimized way.
