In the latest episode of the Empowerography Podcast, my guest is Tanya Liveras Candy. Tanya Liveras Candy is a mother, entrepreneur, mentor, speaker and philanthropist. She lives in London with her husband and son. Tanya was inspired by the line of successful entrepreneurs in her family, especially her grandfather (Andreas Liveras). After completing her BA degree in Comparative Literature Studies, she worked within her family businesses in the property and yacht charter industries, where she gained a wealth of experience. Tanya also has extensive PR, Event and Media experience. She subsequently worked at the leading brand-building global agency Karla Otto. Tanya used her hands on approach to work her way up the company where she became Director of VIP Services, covering VIP relations, brand partnerships and events. Alongside this, she hosted and interviewed celebrities and entrepreneurs on location in London and Monaco, inclusive of the World Music Awards. Tanya has since built her own property portfolio and additionally sits on the board of directors for a property company in Knightsbridge. Tanya mentors women and is a regular speaker for both virtual and in person conferences, on leadership, motherhood, women's wellbeing, baby loss and the challenges of having a baby born prematurely. Tanya encourages others to put their wellness and their purpose at the forefront of their lives. She reminds them that they are not alone in their journey, that there is always light after darkness and that they can achieve everything they desire with passion, hard work and confidence. In this episode we discuss motherhood, Mothersphere, personal loss and struggle, philanthropic work, community, family and entrepreneurship.
