In Robin Sharma’s book “The Leader Who Had No Title,” he shares an opening notion that “Getting lost along your path is a part of finding the path you’re meant to be on. Sometimes we need to get off track before we can develop the clarity to be on track.”
IN THIS WEEK’S EPISODE, I’ll share with you some quick thoughts on OWNING OUR MESS and how we as humans beings tend to deflect the mess of change in an effort to stay in the comfort of our know pain.
As human beings we will go to great lengths to avoid life’s most precious and messy opportunities for growth. In fact, I believe, and would be willing to bet that most people tend to avoid tackling their own demons because they don’t want to lose their suffering. Personal experience and folly has manifested this in my own life.
So when life has you whirling in anger and frustration, with a quest to assign someone else the mess...make sure that the reflection staring back at you isn’t a call to action. It’s most likely on you to solve, and never was someone else’s to hold for you.
