Music:Music Interviews
Atlanta bread singer, songwriter, composer, and performer, Kimara is a powerhouse force to be reckoned with. Her artistry began at a young age with the vocal coaching of her grandmother, Willie Pearl. Known as the songbird of the south, Wilie Pearl, trained her granddaughter by the age of 7 to sing in 5 part harmony. From Alto Baritone to Alto Soprano. Along with a tenacity to be the center of attention, Kimara, found her way leading solos in several school productions and choir competitions at Georgia State University. As an adolescent, music was the only way Kimara could escape and express herself; providing a sort of inner peace from the turmoil in her personal life. As an adult, Kimara has worked as a ghost writer for several celebrities but is now taking the time to work on her own career as a singer. Her debut single, “U. feat. Crizzy Moe” was released back in 2020 and since then, she has released 3 additional singles and a new EP, “Panama Red”. This artist is truly a vocalist who understands that music is of the soul, for the soul and hopes to reach her audience through transparency and real life events.
