Join us this week for one of the more tragic musicals we have discussed to date; the 25th anniversary performance of Miss Saigon, which shouldn’t come as a shock given it’s subject topic and that it comes from acclaimed duo Claude-Michel Schönberg and Alain Boublil of Les Misérables fame.
As always we discuss the show in detail, but we also touch on a range of controversies attached within the history of the show, and how it played a role in changing theatre.
With a phenomenal cast of Eva Noblezada and Jon Jon Briones, this is a fantastic show, and maybe the best way for Miss Saigon to be experienced, but will this be too much for Danny to take, or will he instead be moved by Kim’s struggles and find solace in The Engineer’s eccentricities?
