Who We Are

To us, this is what matters most:

 

JESUS

 

Jesus is the Son of God and the redemption of mankind. He is the image and proof of God’s love. His example is the foundation of our faith and the guide to our lives, our ministry, and all we do.

 

“Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,” -‭‭Colossians‬ ‭1:15‬ ‭NLT‬

 

“The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.” -‭‭Hebrews‬ 1:3‬ ‭NIV

 

THE BIBLE

 

We believe the Bible is inspired by God. It contains His will for our lives, His promises to us, and His plans and paths for us. 

 

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.” ‭-Hebrews‬ ‭4:12-13‬ ‭NIV

 

“All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.” -2 Timothy‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭NLT‬‬

 

CHURCH

 

The Church is the movement of God, working to bring people to Jesus, make disciples, and be His hands and feet. It’s not something we do, it’s who we are.

 

For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building. Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?" -1 Corinthians‬ ‭3:9, 16‬ ‭NIV‬‬

 

BAPTISM

 

Baptism is an expression of faith to symbolize, celebrate, and acknowledge the inward change that God has made - bringing the dead in us to life.

 

"As they rode along, they came to some water, and the eunuch said, 'Look! There’s some water! Why can’t I be baptized?' He ordered the carriage to stop, and they went down into the water, and Philip baptized him." -Acts‬ ‭8:36, 38‬ ‭NLT

 

SALVATION

 

God’s forgiveness and grace are gifts given to every single person. They are not based on our works, but on Jesus' work on the cross.

 

“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” -2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭NLT‬‬

 

HOLY SPIRIT

 

The Holy Spirit is our counselor and our helper. We can be close to God through the Holy Spirit. God wants to do life with us. God’s Spirit changes our lives and the power of God’s Spirit works through our lives.

 

“But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” -John‬ ‭14:26-27‬ ‭NIV‬‬

 

“For the Kingdom of God is not just a lot of talk; it is living by God’s power.” ‭‭-1 Corinthians‬ ‭4:2  

 

GENEROSITY

 

We don’t have to be generous, we GET to be generous. Jesus gave us His all; therefore, we WANT to give Him our all. We trust Him with what He has entrusted to us and we invest in what we believe in.

 

"Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. 'For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.' And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.” -2 Corinthians‬ ‭9:6-8‬ ‭NLT‬‬
