Welcome to the chateau for the sixth edition of The Chronicles of Podcast, these are The Chronicles of Apache Indian
This week we open the doors of the chateau for a true legend, gentleman and inspiration. Apache Indian is a singer songwriter from Birmingham, UK. Known for his hybrid sound of bhangra raggamuffin – also known as bhangramuffin, he has a music career spanning over 30 years, releasing 12 albums and hit songs like 'Arranged Marriage', 'Don Raja' and smash hit 'Boom Shack-A-Lak'.
Outside of music Apache Indian has dedicated his life and career to the local community, creating the AIM Academy to help the local youth, whether it be with music, sports or general day to day life.
We talk all about his upbringing, his start in the music world, his inspirations, the reasons for his youth academy, the opportunities his career has given to him and why he finds supporting the local community so important.
